Cloves are the unopened pink flower buds of the clove tree. The buds are picked by hand when they are pink and dried until they turn brown in color. They have a very intensely warm, sweet and aromatic flavor. Use with pork, cakes and desserts.
Cloves promotes digestion and have anti-fungal properties and are used commonly for toothaches.
