Traditionally used in Africa for generations, Mafura Butter is a rich botanical ingredient known for its moisturising and conditioning properties. Naturally high in essential fatty acids, it helps nourish dry, damaged and colour-treated hair, leaving it feeling softer, smoother and more manageable.
This intensive hair treatment is especially beneficial for hair that has been exposed to colouring, heat styling or environmental stress. It helps improve the look and feel of dry, brittle hair while supporting healthier-looking, more resilient strands.
How to Use
After shampooing, apply the hair mask from mid-lengths to ends. Leave for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
For a deeper conditioning treatment, apply to damp hair, wrap your hair in a towel and leave for approximately 20 minutes before rinsing.
Care Instructions
Our Mafura Butter Hair Mask contains no added preservatives, so please keep water away from the product to maintain its freshness. Use the spoon provided to remove only the amount needed before entering the shower.
As this is a natural butter-based product, it may soften or melt in warmer temperatures (above approximately 30°C). Store in a cool place. If the product melts and re-solidifies, its natural properties remain unchanged.

Made from cold pressed Black Cumin Oil and a blend of nourishing and conditioning certified organic oils, herbs & power-packed essential oils.
Numerous studies have indicated that Black Cumin oil is effective in strengthening the hair follicles, mainly due to the thymoquinone it contains. The anti-microbial compounds and powerful antioxidants found in Black Cumin oil are known to encourage growth. Black Cumin oil is also an anti-inflammatory and is good for soothing scalp conditions like irritation & itchiness.
Almond & Olive oils contain Vitamin E which are moisturising & prevent the scalp from drying. Amla powder strengthens hair at its root & prevents unnecessary hair loss. Cold pressed Castor Oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that protect hair against dandruff and scalp infections. It also contains ricinoleic acid which enhances the circulation of blood to the scalp thus supporting hair growth.
The blend of certified organic essential oils stimulate the hair follicles by increasing circulation to the scalp.
How to Apply: Put a few drops on to a cotton wool & massage into scalp. Let sit for at least 15 minutes. Shampoo thoroughly. Repeat at least once a week.
