Senna, also known as Cassia or “neutral henna”, is a natural plant powder traditionally used to condition and enhance lighter hair tones. Made from the leaves of the Cassia plant, it contains a natural compound called chrysophanic acid, which can create soft golden highlights on grey, silver or light blonde hair.
Unlike henna, Cassia does not create a strong dye colour and will not significantly change dark hair. It is best suited for grey, blonde or light-coloured hair, where it can help restore warmth, enhance shine and leave hair feeling smoother and more conditioned.
